Absolutely great service!! We arrived home the other day from a week long trip and the temperature in our house was 87°. The AC went out while we were gone. Mindy36 days agoWe had an issue with our AC and called McIntosh Air Conditioning & Heating to come out and take a look. They initially attempted to fix the problem, but unfortunately, the AC still wasn't working properly. After speaking with Tim, he came out personally and spent several hours working on the system to get it running correctly. Tim was able to get our AC working, but what really stood out was his follow-up. He checked in with us several times a day for several days to make sure everything was still working properly. That level of care and commitment is hard to find! We truly appreciate Tim taking the time to make sure the job was done right and that we were taken care of. We would definitely recommend them, especially Tim, to anyone needing AC service!Posted on Google

Very prompt - I even asked them to delay a day so no rush. Was a slight hiccup on schedule - I was expecting in the afternoon but technician arrived at 8am. I called McIntosh, and within the hour Tim the owner himself came out to get the system working again. New parts were ordered and installed Monday to fix the problem permanently. I cannot say enough about McIntosh AC & Heating! From the 1st phone call to the last email thanking us for our business; it was the easiest contractor we'd ever dealt with and truly a pleasure doing business with them! They were so nice, pleasant (even though the guys had a rough time with our old house lol) they went above & beyond! Very reasonably priced also with lots of options. The written estimate was provided quickly with detail and a fair price and was accepted. The work was scheduled within one week and was completed in one day with all old equipment removed, new higher efficiency system installed, tested and accepted. The system design, equipment provided and professional workmanship provided by McIntosh was all excellent. I called them after hours and left a message about my concern. Within 10 min, the service rep called to set an appt for the following day. My issues was resolved as promised. The service guy was on time, was professional, and answered my many questions. Diane, who runs the office, always returns my calls promptly, too. I highly recommend McIntosh! Chris Fancher370 days agoTim and his crew spent the better part of two days taking care of an A/C ducting issue underneath an old foundation. They worked feverishly to make sure the time without A/C on a typically hot Summer day was at a minimum. We were included on all decisions which included a very large "work around" to ensure the best installation of new ducting. So glad we have had McIntosh as our long time A/C experts.Posted on Google

They rerouted a tech over to diagnose the issue, install repair parts, and get us back cooling. They actually had to replace an old unit, original to our home from 1994! And they come back to service it on a yearly basis! I called them to check a problem on our other unit and the technician was able to come out right away, diagnose the problem and have it fixed two days later! The men who did the work were polite, courteous and explained what they would be doing and about how long it would take. When they were finished, they let me know and thanked me for letting them do the work! They also cleaned up after themselves so there was no mess involved! From my first phone call to explain my problem to Diana in the office, to this morning when the job was completed, it all went so well. Within an hour of my call, they sent a service tech by and within another hour they had the problem fixed. This is the 2nd time I’ve called them and they’ve had their service man out the same day and both times fixed my problem. This type of service is almost unheard of. Those folks unfamiliar with our Central Texas winters will also appreciate McIntosh when they show up on time to kickstart a cranky heating unit on a below freezing day. I like to stand back, look over the shoulder of the repair tech and ask dumb questions. Any of the McIntosh techs patiently explain to me what they are doing and why, and what I can do to make the HVAC work better longer. They are knowledgeable and always respectful of the fact that they are in my house. I can’t remember a single time I could ever tell they were even here, other than a problem solved. The care they take in making sure they are clean and careful not to leave scuffs/marks on my walls, even when doing dirty work in tight spaces is especially notable. I contacted Tim because of great online reviews and discussed options for installing a second HVAC system and necessary ductwork to our house in place of a couple of failing ductless mini-splits. Tim quickly provided a quote (where others took weeks to reply), had materials available (where others were waiting months for supplies), and worked with me to schedule a time for installation. The team that came to do the work was friendly, respectful, and considerate of any mess they might make. Some furniture needed to be moved, and others were covered with drop cloths. On the day that they finished, I had to leave the house before them, and when I returned, I found that they had put my daughter's bunk bed back in place and even re-strung the Christmas lights she had hung along the top. If I need additional HVAC work in the future, I'll be certain to call Tim and the McIntosh team.Posted on Google

Diana in the office and the service person, Danny, kept me advised of his arrival and once he arrived went right to work figuring out my problem. Turned out I had a leak in my evaporator. One was ordered and my problem was fixed within just a matter of a couple days. A bandaid was put on my current system until the replacement could be done so I didn't loose use of my HVAC system. Our last interaction with them was for some routine maintenance before summer started, and the crew showed up early and were very respectful of social distancing and they wore masks every time they came in the house.
